SOLD – Jo is now the proud owner of Wattie & we are also very pleased to welcome her as a new livery on the yard  🙂

Wattie is a gorgeous 17hh, 9 year old, KWPN, bay gelding by Matterhorn (Nimmerdor).  He has 3 super, loose, balanced paces, established at Medium level and working towards his changes and the more advanced work at home. He is still well in Medium points with a very successful competition record.

He enjoys lots of fuss on the yard and great to deal with in all ways.

A competitive home is wanted for this very talented boy who is only for sale as his owner has had a change of circumstance.

Becky and ‘Jack’ have been nominated to represent Great Britain in the FEI World Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany at the beginning of August.

It is Jack’s first International Show and they will be up against other top 5 year old combinations from around the world.

Michael Eilberg riding Woodlander Farouche took the 5 year old title last year and has also been selected to compete again this year for Great Britain but in the 6 year old class.

As you can imagine we are over the moon and so proud of Becky and Jack to have got this far and we are keeping everything crossed for a successful show 🙂

We will let you know how it goes but first we have got the Shearwater Young Horse Finals at Hartpury this weekend – its all go!

16.1 hh 4 year old handsome bay Hanoverian gelding by Uccello, out of a Laptop mare. He has very expressive paces, with a lovely trainable temperament. He was imported from Germany as a foal and has been with the owner since then.

He was backed in January and is proving to be a lovely character, he hacks out on the lanes on his own or in company. He has been to one BD show travelling well and was very well behaved, and received very positive comments from the judges.

He is now ready to go on in either dressage , eventing or showjumping , showing talent for all these disciplines.   You tube link from March

Congratulations go out to Eilidh Grant riding her own Comanche Crumble and Harriette Williams riding Becky’s Madams Miss Maria.

Eilidh has been selected to be reserve for the GB Young Rider Team in Switzerland – this is a fantastic achievement 🙂

Harriette has been selected to represent GB on the Pony Team in France. Dot has made amazing progress with Becky and Harriette’s hard work and determination and it has really paid off!

**** We have found CJ a lovely competition home with Zoe Haigh who I am sure will have lots of fun together ****16.2hh, 5 year old, home-bred, bright bay gelding by Santano (Sandro Hit). CJ has got 3 super, uphill paces and a great trainable temperament. He works in a natural outline and loves to please. He has been to a couple of unaffiliated shows this year, behaved extremely well and received some great comments from the judges.

CJ is easy to deal with in all ways, good to hack, shoe, box, clip, bath and loves cuddles!

We are offering CJ on loan to a 5* approved home only.

He will do a bit of everything – he is at Novice level at the moment but can only be worked at Elementary/Medium level in the future. Therefore we would like somebody who would want to be very successful at this level but do not have any great ambition to get to the Advanced work straight away.

He is a very special horse to us and we will be quite choosey on who we give this amazing opportunity to 🙂

I think Somerford Park has been our favourite show of the year so far with its excellent new facilities plus the glorious weather, and even despite the fact that Frank broke down on the way there and we had to be ‘police escorted’ out of the way! But thankfully Robin came to our rescue and not only fixed the problem but also drove us all the way there 🙂

Becky and Jack took 1st place in the National 5YO Young Horse Class with a fantastic 89% – Wally and Caluna were placed 4th and 5th in the Inter 11 with 66.25% and 66.08% and Becky and Josie’s Don Angelo were placed 5th in the Ad Med and 4th in his first ever Advanced 🙂 Emma C, Emma G and Josie also rode good tests but unfortunately just had too many little mistakes to keep them out of the placings. All the students had much better tests on day 2 & 3 and Emma C even brought back a red rosette 🙂
